How to Learn Japanese Language From Home

In this article I am going to explain some of the fundamentals of how to learn Japanese language.

The great news about Japanese is that it is a phonetic language (written as it sounds).

This differentiates between the polite form and the informal way of speaking.

One simple example is when you greet a teacher in the morning you would say the polite "ohayo gozaimasu", where as good morning amongst friends is a simple "ohayo".

There are three main writing scripts called Kanji, Katakana and Hiragana.

When you initially learn Japanese you will probably use Romanji which is their form of writing and uses the Latin alphabet, and later on you will move onto the traditional Japanese form of writing using characters.

Obviously when learning a language it is important to practice and use it as much as possible.

The internet is a great resource for leaning as you can watch You tube videos in Japanese, read websites and newspaper (once you ave learned how to read Katakana) and watch or listen to as much Japanese programs as possible.

There are also many great products that provide you with forums that you can interact on and practice with fellow students.

 

    How Long Does it Take to Learn Japanese Language? - Putting More Effort Into Learning

For whatever reason you want to learn Japanese, just realize that it is not how long it takes, but how much you put in.

How you go about it and what you put into it will determine how quickly you will pick up Japanese.

It is all about commitment.

If you are planning to learn Japanese language then the best route is taking actual classes or private tutoring.

Any of these options should provide you with a good basic foundation, and understanding of the Japanese language.

You have to constantly speak Japanese on a daily basis outside of class as well.

If you can set some time aside to use and apply what you have learned you will pick it up faster.

Speaking the Japanese language is a lot simpler than you think.

If you take the time and effort to learn it properly you will realize that speaking is not so hard.

In my opinion memorizing the letters and writing them properly will take longer than speaking the language.

To look at everything in a different perspective the average Japanese citizen by the time they finish high school will memorize up to nearly 2000 kanji.

It just requires practice and daily usage.

Another great tip is to associate certain symbols with pictures.

Just use your imagination, and you can memorize kanji easier.

Everyone has a different learning curve, but what's most important is that you put full focus into everything.
